Information Covered

This Privacy Policy applies to information received in the course of our business operations as the funding bank and primary information technology service provider for our affiliated Farm Credit associations*.

In the course of our business, we may collect from you or receive from our affiliated associations* various types of information about you and your transactions with our associations. This information may include information about your use of our websites, information available from public records, market research and credit reports, as well as information you voluntarily provide to us. When you complete an interactive application or form located on the websites of one of our affiliated associations or the website of one of our third party service providers, such as BalanceTrak, that application or form may include personally identifiable information about you, such as, your name, address, e-mail address, social security number, or information about accounts you may have with a Farm Credit association or other financial institutions. This information may be received by us in the course of our normal business operations.

How We Collect or Receive This Information

We collect and use your personal information that you voluntarily provide using an interactive form or e-mail on our websites or the websites of one of our third party service providers, or using a mobile application, or that we may receive about you from our affiliated associations* that do business with you because of our role as the funding bank and primary information services provider to our associations.

Farm Credit Bank of Texas does not share your information with third party marketers offering their products and services.

We may contract with third party companies or persons to provide certain services, such as, BalanceTrak, which provides job applicant information collection for us, or Q2, which facilitates certain online banking services through the websites of our affiliated associations. For your protection, we confirm that we have conducted a reasonable investigation of any such third parties from whom information about you is obtained, and on the basis of that investigation, we believe that such third parties are reputable and reliable. Additionally, we have reviewed these service providers’ privacy practices and have determined them to be not materially less stringent than our own.

We may provide access to information, products, or services on websites that are owned by other companies ("Third Party Websites"). These Third Party Websites include the websites of our affiliated associations* and non-affiliated third parties.
